                                                            Dionne Roberts  

Chief Executive Officer

Dionne Roberts has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Transpire since October 2003. As such she oversees the daily operations of the organization, which focuses on meeting the needs of the membership of the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) as they relate to the development of affordable housing and community revitalization. This includes the NAHRO e-Procurement System, the Access Alliance and the National Affordable Housing Training Institute.

Prior to joining NAHRO in 2002, Ms. Roberts was a national consultant on housing and community development issues, with an emphasis on strategic planning and special needs housing. She has trained more than 3000 community development professionals, and provided directed assistance to more than 100 agencies to address their specific needs. Ms. Roberts is the author of a number of training curricula, and has most recently written for NAHRO publications.

Ms. Roberts began her housing career in 1993 with a focus on housing opportunities for the homeless. She attended Syracuse University as an undergraduate and has a Masters of Science in Organization Development from American University in Washington, DC.

 

       

                                    Reginald Hart, Jr.

Grants Administrator

Reginald Hart has over 18 years of professional experience in business management, contracting and cost control.  His experience includes oversight of Federal, GSA schedule, State, local and private sector contracts, subcontracts, grants and teaming agreements.  He has also served as budget and procurement consultant to State agencies and universities with multimillion dollar funding budgets.

 

Mr. Hart’s primary function at Transpire, Inc. is to assist with the management and administration of the National Affordable Housing Training Institutes (NAHTI) cooperative agreements with the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).  In this capacity, he is responsible for contract compliance, financial oversight and reporting of all affordable housing technical assistance tasks.  This involves the coordination of activities carried out by the six NAHTI member organizations on a national level. 

 

Mr. Hart holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of the District of Columbia.
