Transpire, Inc. is a nationally-focused non-profit organization committed to the growth and development of sustainable communities across the country, and to promoting the role of NAHRO members in these efforts. By engaging in entrepreneurial activities that directly benefit NAHRO members and the housing and community development industry at large, we will create revenue streams to support NAHRO members in this work and add value to their communities.

 

Transpire's Purpose

To add value to communities through service to NAHRO members by developing and sustaining appropriate business lines of benefit to NAHRO members. We will develop new tools and approaches to unresolved challenges, and meet the needs within the affordable housing and community development industry. We will identify and promote partnerships across sectors that can assist communities in meeting their goals, and in doing so recommit to serving the members of NAHRO, first and foremost.

 

 

Our Goals

Transpire, Inc. strives to fulfill its purpose through three approaches to serving NAHRO members and the housing and community development industry at large:

  • Increasing access to financing and development tools;
  • Providing value-added products and services; and
  • Increasing capacity of local, state and regional housing and community development

              agencies.   

 

Our Core Values 

Excellence - In every undertaking, we are committed to excellence, and to strive for continuous improvement. Our service, our products, and our value will all reflect our pledge to this ideal.

 

Community - We seek to promote the importance of community and the well being that  community can provide to residents. This means that we value the NAHRO community, the affordable housing and community development community, and all those served by those we serve.

 

Integrity – Our work must demonstrate our devotion to housing and community development. We commit to serving our mission above all, and to being of service to the membership of NAHRO in this way. We further commit to doing this transparently, providing a clear sense of our approach to the community and NAHRO membership.

 

People – People create solutions. We want to create networks that increase opportunities for NAHRO members to better serve their communities, and commit to working with all levels of NAHRO.
